Se puede concluir que las ACn presentes en el fruto
maqui no son capaces de prevenir el HGNA, pero que
sí tienen efectos positivos en elementos que participan
en la fisiopatología del HGNA como el fenotipo metabólico
asociado a la resistencia a la insulina, como
se observa en el peso de los ratones, tal como se había
detectado en estudios anteriores.
